Sasami Multimedia Player Trying to replace WMP as a very slick looking player with lots of extra features. So far, it's got a 10-band equalizer, subtitles, and the ability to player movies as your desktop wallpaper. For anyone who hasn't seen this feature on an ATI All-In-Wonder card, it's REALLY cool!

Buy Jenny some Boobs
Nice idea, use a website to build revenue so you can get a boob job. The site uses flash buttons and has a cheesy beat going on the whole time you visit it. Don't know what to say....

Direct Connect This is a cool new files-swapping utility that's sorta a cross between Napster and IRC. It's organized into hubs that then specialize on certain topics (basically guilds). What makes this system cool is that hubs can deny you entry if you're not sharing the required amount of files (Ex. 2GB min.) or allowing at least a certain number of simultaneous downloads. Theoretically, this should weed out the leeches.

Mass Dialing 911
Virus in email that is read on Japanese phones can cause the phone to mass dial '110' Which is the equivalent of dialing 911 in the states. It seems there are about 24 million customers of the japanese mobile phone company. That would be really cool to implement in the states, But you don't make it call 911 instead you make it call the whitehouse.
New Webserver
Not an exciting title but its a cool app. This new company allows you to share files on your computer by creating a web server. Now your thinking, "So What". Well the coolness lies in what it does. Its allows you to share files like Excel and Word documents but instead of letting the user download them, they can read them online in HTML format. They can also do searchs on what files are available and what not. I kinda like the idea of this.
Rent new games online
Ya, your probably thinking another Red Octane. Nope this one is different. Imagine lets say Quake 8 comes out and you don't want to buy it and you don't have a crack for the demo. This company lets you rent it but you rent it online meaning you don't have to have it shipped to you. You play the game on their servers using some buffer application. Its basically a subscription based blockbuster online. But its for computer games.
Oxford adds d'oh
This is freakin cool. The Oxford Dictionary is adding DOH to their new and improved edition.
